Magick and Magic

Wiccan adepts claim to use ” magick” (not magic) to make their lives and the ones who they care about better.

The main difference between the two is that magic refers to the world of entertainment and illusion while magick means a whole other perspective. Apparently, Alister Crowley put the k on it to establish the difference.

Magick comes from the Pagan culture (and I would argue that it started before that. It is used to shape the elements of reality to one’s convenience.

There’s not a lot of formal information around the subject since it’s a decentralized religion with no established institution or holy book.

The way magick actually works is unknown to me but it sure is an interesting topic to write about and cover in the future.
